Dr. Jeronda T. Burley

Dr. Burley gave her life to the Lord in 1992 and is a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Glenarden since 2007. Since joining the church, she became trained as an altar counselor and serves alongside her husband as a senior partner in the Prosperity Partners Ministry and in the Couples Ministry. They were also faithfully involved with the Couples ministry.

Prior to joining FBCG, Dr. Burley served 10 years as a member of the Greater Mount Calvary Holy Church in Washington, D.C., where she was licensed to minister the gospel in 2003. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology; a Master’s of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, both from Auburn University; a MDiv degree from Howard University; and earned a PhD in Social Work from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Burley is routinely invited to present her research at local, national and international social work conferences. She has several scholarly publications and over a decade of experience pursing her research interests within community-based organizations and the faith community. Most importantly, Dr. Burley is the proud wife of Ernest Burley Jr. and mother of Naomi Miracle Brielle and Ernest Burley III.
