Patricia Padgett

Patricia (Pat) Padgett is a native of Washington, D.C., and a resident of Prince George’s County Maryland. 
She is a recent retiree with 36 years of service in the Federal Government. She attends Capital Bible Seminary in Greenbelt, Md., where she is pursuing a degree in Pastoral Counsel. 

Patricia is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden’s Focus Study Ministry, facilitating classes such as The Secret of Journaling, The Excellent Wife, Sacred Listening and Promises from God for Single Women. She’s also the Chaplin for the Senior Wednesday Ministry and helps to facilitate the All Things New Family Support Ministry. In addition, Pat volunteers for Hospice of the Chesapeake Life Center in Largo Md., where she offers and hold sacred space classes of healing for those who grieve. 

She is the proud author of a book entitled “Inspired to Write,” in which she is in the process of modifying now. After being happily married for 31 years, Pat is now a blossoming widow. She has 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren.
